Quinn shut her eyes tight as she reacted to Sam’s kiss. His lips were the softest she’d ever touched and she loved the tingles that they sent down her spine. Quinn leaned on Sam slightly, her body almost sinking into his. She knew this was special, and she hoped it wouldn’t end as quick as it started. Sam was a great guy, and she trusted him, but if he were to ever break her heart, she wouldn’t know what to do. It had take her enough time to even get to this stage and if he screwed it up now, she’d be torn. She never just gave her heart away to someone, they had to earn it, almost. It wasn’t just like some shoes you lend out and get back a few days later. It’s a long term thing. Something to take care of, protect, cherish and requite. Quinn knew she had to be careful. She knew how some guys could be. They trick you into thinking that they’re lovely and kind, then the next minute they turn on you and leave. She was sceptical with Sam. Maybe he wouldn’t do this to her, but she couldn’t eliminate that he might just be like all the others. She hoped she’d be proved wrong this time and that she might actually have a chance of happiness in her life.
The Blonde kissed more passionately, not letting her lips slip away from his. This felt like electricity. It felt amazing. Too amazing to stop, in fact. She locked her arms around his neck and squealed a tiny bit as he lifted her from the ground and held her. Wrapping her legs around his waist, Quinn held on as tightly as she could, not wanting to fall and lose contact with him. She felt his pounding heart against hers and she smiled against his lips. He was just as nervous as she was. But, what was the reason to be nervous? There wasn’t really a reason. As Sam turned, Quinn had an idea she knew what was coming next. She felt the bed beneath her as the Blonde laid her down carefully. She felt their lips part and she flicked open her eyes so see Sam peering over her and smiling as he looked down. ”Sam, are you okay?” She grinned at how cute he looked. He was thinking, she could see it in his eyes. She could almost hear the cogs of his brain rattling. Quinn moved up the bed and rested her head against the pillow. Sam climbed next to her and laid facing her, still wearing that ridiculously adorable smile. That was one of the things that in the end, helped her fall for him.
Quinn lay there smiling like an idiot. Just looking at him was something she could do for ages. She watched him look at her. It was like a cheesy scene out of some romantic film. It could be a beautiful photo. They were beautiful.Sam’s grip on her became tighter as her body sank into his. He wished he could have this feeling forever. He felt amazing, simply amazing. Having Quinn’s body so close to his, their hearts practically beating against each other, and her lips moving in a perfect motion with his made his entire body tingle with excitement, and comfort. Being this close to her – this intimate with her – was soothing to him. Something about her relaxed him and excited him at the same time. Quinn was definitely someone special, and Sam was going to do everything in his power to keep this relationship. He never thought he’d meet someone in college that he’d care about so much, especially not about his tutor. College was supposed to be the place where you date around. Find out what you’re looking for; keeping your options open. At least, that’s what Sam came in believing what college was supposed to be like. But as of right now, Sam didn’t want any other girl but Quinn. She meant a lot to him, and he’s never felt this way about a girl before. The only girl he cared about as much was his little sister.
As their kiss became more passionate, Sam lifted Quinn off of the ground. He smiled against her lips as her legs immediately went around his waist, and her grip became tighter around him. He enjoyed it. Not wanting to just hold her in the air the entire time, he turned and started walking towards the bed. He bent over and laid her down gently. He tore his lips away from hers. For a moment, he didn’t think he’d be able to. He peered down at her with a slight smile on his face. As stupid as it sounded, he wanted to take this moment in. He wanted to acknowledge that this was actually happening. That he was lucky enough to have this wonderful, gorgeous girl feel the same way about him. It seemed too good to be true, honestly. Part of him was convinced that he was still sleeping, and this was a dream. Hell, even if it was, he hoped he would never wake up from it.
Sam climbed beside Quinn and turned on his side so that he could face her. His smile grew wider just by looking at her. “You’re beautiful, Quinn.” Sam whispered. He reached over and pushed some of the stray hairs that were in her face behind her ear, taking a better look at her. “Really beautiful.”
Quinn couldn’t help but smile sweetly. Sam, somehow, couldn’t stop making her smile. He didn’t always have to say anything, just the way he looked at her made her heart stop. ”Thankyou, Sam.” She said, running her fingertips softly through his beautiful blonde hair. ”I think you’re cute.” Quinn couldn’t really put it any other way. If she was to say ‘hot’, it would be like she was just objectifying him, and calling him handsome would be a slightly awkward thing to say, so, she decided to go with cute. Lacing her arm around his waist, Quinn snuggled into his chest and laid there for a while. Just breathing in his scent and having her body pressed up to his was enough. It made her feel special, wanted, appreciated. As cliché as it sounded, he made her feel a way no guy had ever made her feel before, and she loved it. She felt secure now, and although it was cheesy, he filled the empty place of her heart; the puzzle piece she’d been missing for a long, long time. She was finally grateful to have found such a great guy, like Sam.
”So, what now?” Quinn said, looking up at Sam and smiling. ”I mean, are we dating…or…?” She hoped he’d say yes, because the honest truth was that she really liked him, and wanted to be with him. ”I want to be with you, Sam. I want to spend endless days and nights with you. I want to be the one that falls asleep next to you and wakes up next to you. I want to feel your body against mine as I drift off to sleep and as I pull myself awake in the morning.” Quinn was being as honest as she could. In her mind she was begging for his answer to be ‘Yes, I want to date you. I want to be with you, too.’ But, she needed to hear it from him.

Quinn listened to Sam’s comforting words and she began to feel better by the second. Knowing he still felt the same, made a small smile form on her face. Feeling his soft lips connect with the bare skin on her neck shot a shock wave through her body. He was literally irresistible. ”I want you too, Sam. But are you really sure?” Turning around, Quinn kept Sam’s arms wrapped around her waist. Her chest pressed up against his and she looked up at the adorable Blonde. His eyes were enticing, she couldn’t help but stare into them. Q’ wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled sweetly. She wanted to kiss him so badly in this moment, but she could wait for that, just until she got the answers she wanted. Sam meant something to her, and that was important. It wasn’t lust. It was love, to her. She wasn’t just going to have him one minute and not have him the next. She wanted him for good. She wanted to grow old with him, have children with him, have a happy ever after with him.
Sam seemed to touch a special place in Quinn’s heart. A place no one else had ever really found. There was something very different about the Blonde. Q’ couldn’t exactly make out what it was, but whatever it was, it was definitely something worth fighting for. ”I l-love you, S-Sam.” Quinn stammered, struggling to get the words out. She had never admitted that to another guy; maybe because she hadn’t actually had that many boyfriends. But, Sam actually made her happy, and that definitely counted for something.Sam couldn’t help but smile a dopey smile once he heard Quinn say she wanted him to. He had a hunch that she did, but actually hearing the words leave her lips put him on cloud nine. “I’m sure,” Sam replied with a nod. He should be asking if she was the one who was sure. It seemed kind of funny that it was the other way around considering she was the ridiculously beautiful blonde that was also ridiculously smart, while Sam on the other hand was the guy who sat around and played video games for fun and could barely concentrate in class and comprehend some of his college textbooks. Why did she like him? He wasn’t going to question it, though. He was just extremely happy that this was happening. A month ago – hell, even two days ago – if you asked Sam if he ever thought Quinn would go out with someone like him, he would immediately say no. He was being proved wrong right now. For once he was actually happy to be proved wrong.

It sucked that yesterday they made out heavily on her bed, and he couldn’t remember a single thing from it, not even what her lips felt like. To be quite honest, Sam didn’t know much about love. All he knew was there were thousands of movies based off of it, and even more songs written about it. He never really experienced love for himself. Things seemed to change when he met Quinn, though. The more he hung out with her and the more he talked to her and got to know her, he suddenly understood what the musicians were talking about. Since their faces were barely inches apart, Sam leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. He couldn’t wait anymore. As he looked down at her beautiful face, all he wanted to do was feel her lips on hers again. Soberly this time.
